AppleJack Fun Run & Walk - Nebraska City
The AppleJack Fun Run & Walk takes place on September 19, 2026, in Steinhart Park, Nebraska City, NE (121 S. Steinhart Park Road). The event is held in conjunction with the city’s AppleJack Festival and will proceed rain or shine. Proceeds from the event go back into the Nebraska City community.
The primary event is a 5K run/walk that begins in Steinhart Park. The route includes portions on brick, gravel, and rough terrain. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome on the course. Restrooms are available at the start and finish.
There is a short kids fun run of about one mile held in Steinhart Park. The kids run is free, no registration is required, and shirts are not provided for the kids run.
Registration details for the 5K: registration opens May 27, 2026, and closes September 1, 2026; the registration fee is $35.00. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations completed after August 31, 2026.
Parking is available on a first come first serve basis at Steinhart Lodge near Sylvan Road and Steinhart Park Road and at Nebraska City High School, 141 Steinhart Park Road. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
