Apple Valley Reverse Triathlon - 2026
The Apple Valley Reverse Triathlon takes place at Civic Center Park and the Aquatic Center in Apple Valley, California. The reverse-format triathlon begins with a 5K run, continues with a 12-mile road cycling course, and finishes with a 150-yard pool swim. E-bikes are not allowed and helmets are required for the bike portion. All events are chip timed. Triathletes receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal.
Event distances:
- Reverse Triathlon: 5K run, 12 miles bike, 150 yd pool swim
- Kids Triathlon: 1K run, 1 mile bike, 50 yd swim
- Stand-alone 5K: 5K run
The kids triathlon is geared toward ages 5 to 12 and includes participation awards; each child receives a medal and T-shirt. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in each division for the triathlon, plus top three male and female in the 5K. A valid ID is required for packet pickup; Friday packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event. Parking is available in the Town Hall parking lot and at the nearby Super Target shopping center.
