Apple Valley Reverse Triathlon
The Apple Valley Reverse Triathlon takes place at Civic Center Park and the Aquatic Center in Apple Valley, California. The event includes a reverse triathlon, a kids triathlon, and a stand alone 5K.
- Reverse triathlon: 5K run, 12 mile bike, 150 yd pool swim.
- Kids triathlon: 1K run, 1 mile bike, 50 yd swim.
- Stand alone 5K run.
The reverse triathlon sequence begins with a run, continues on a 12 mile road bike course, and finishes with a pool swim. E bikes are not allowed. All events are chip timed. Triathlon participants receive a T shirt and a finisher medal.
The kids triathlon is intended for children aged 5 to 12. Each child receives a medal and a T shirt and participation awards are provided.
Medals are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in each division for the triathlon. The 5K awards the top three male and female finishers.
Helmets are required for the bike portion and proper swim attire is required for the swim. Packet pickup requires a valid ID. Parking is available in the Town Hall parking lot off Dale Evans Parkway and Westlund Way or at the Super Target shopping center. Listed registration fees include an individual triathlon fee of USD 70, a relay fee of USD 90, kids entry USD 40, and a 5K entry USD 40.
