Apple Valley Reverse Triathlon
The Apple Valley Reverse Triathlon takes place at Civic Center Park and the adjacent Aquatic Center in Apple Valley, California. The reverse triathlon sequence starts with a 5K run, continues with a 12 mile road bike course, and finishes with a 150 yard pool swim. E Bikes are not allowed for the bike portion.
A kids triathlon is offered for ages 5 to 12 and includes a 1k run, a 1 mile bike ride, and a 50 yard swim; participation awards, a medal, and a T-shirt are provided to each child participant. The event also includes a stand-alone 5K run open to runners who choose that option.
All events are chip timed. Triathletes receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are given with medals for the top three overall male and female triathletes, top three in each triathlon division, and top three male and female finishers in the 5K event.
Packet pickup requires a valid ID and is available the day before the event and on race day. Helmets are required for the bike portion and proper swim attire is required for the swim. Parking is available in the Town Hall parking lot off Dale Evans Parkway and Westlund Way, and in the Super Target shopping center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
