The Apple Blossom Run is a long-standing community event held in Wenatchee, Washington. Sponsored for over 30 years by Confluence Health and Ballard Ambulance, the run is a featured part of the annual Washington State Apple Blossom Festival. This multi-day festival celebrates the region's heritage and fruit industry, attracting a large number of visitors for parades, food, and entertainment.
Participants can choose from several distance options and categories:
- 10K (including a High School category)
- 5K (including a High School category)
- 2K Kids Run (separated by grades: 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8)
The event is held at Triangle Park and features a course with chipped timing. Registration includes a commemorative t-shirt, which is available in both youth and adult sizes. A packet pickup service is available the day prior to the race at a drive-through location near the Confluence Health Central Campus Rehab building. On the day of the event, bib pickup is available for those who did not attend the Friday session, followed by pre-race announcements before the various distances commence.
Partnerships for the event include local organizations such as Wenatchee Outdoors, Tree Top, Crunch Pak, and CMI Orchards, all working to promote health and wellness within the community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
