Devil's Gulch : Wenatchee, WA
Devil's Gulch is a multi-distance trail running event held at Mission Ridge near Wenatchee, WA. The event offers several race options that start and finish at the ski resort and take place on trails in Ponderosa pine forests of the eastern Cascades. The course travels high ridgelines and exposed viewpoints as well as lower-elevation forests, gulches, rocky hoodoos, and creek crossings. Surfaces include technical rocky single track, smooth flowing trail, and some forest service road.
Race distances and key figures:
- 100 Miler - single loop, about 20,000+ ft gain, 39 hour cutoff
- 50 Miler - single loop, about 11,000 ft gain
- Half Marathon - single loop, about 2,500 ft gain
- Kids race
Finish amenities include a shirt for finishers and food and beverages at the finish area. 100 Miler finishers also receive a belt buckle; 50 Miler finishers receive a hand-crafted award. Registration closes the day before the event at 11:59 PM PT. The organizer notes that refunds are not issued; options with fees include deferring an entry, transferring to another runner, or switching to another Evergreen event.
