Devil's Gulch, Wenatchee WA

  • 100 Miler approximately 20,000 feet of elevation gain
  • 50 Miler about 11,000 feet of elevation gain
  • 1/2 Marathon about 2,500 feet of elevation gain

The courses mix technical rocky single track, steep climbs, smooth flowing trails, and some forest service road. Runners move along ridgelines, through gulches and past large rock hoodoos, then descend into lower-elevation forests where creek crossings occur on some routes. Hot temperatures and substantial vertical gain are noted features of the terrain. Organizers state that cutoffs are generous, allowing participants to manage their own pace.

Finishers in all distances receive a shirt and food and beverages at the finish area at Mission Ridge Ski and Snowboard Resort. Top three finishers in each gender category receive prizes. Additional finish awards include a belt buckle for 100 mile finishers and a hand crafted award for 50 mile finishers. Volunteer signups can include free or discounted race entry. The organizer does not issue refunds for cancelled or rescheduled races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
