Apperley Bridge Canter 2026

The Apperley Bridge Canter takes place on 28 May 2026 in Apperley Bridge, Bradford and is organised by Horsforth Harriers. Race headquarters are at Woodhouse Grove School. This is the event's 20th year of running.

The course is an undulating single lap of approximately 10.5 kilometres on mixed terrain, using tracks, paths and road. The event is chip timed and is held under UKA rules. The race is not suitable for wheelchairs. A memento is provided to all finishers and category prizes are awarded for top open and female finishers and for vet age categories, with a maximum of one prize per entrant.

Facilities listed for the event include water stations, toilets, changing facilities, showers and a baggage store. There are no distance markers on the course. Limited parking is available at the venue; the Race HQ is about a 10 minute walk from Apperley Bridge train station and is served by local bus routes.

Entry information: entry fees are £19 for affiliated runners and £21 for unaffiliated runners. Entry on the day is not available. Refund and transfer conditions apply: refunds may be requested before 01/05/26 minus a £2 processing fee, and places may be transferred free until 14/05/2026. Participants must be 16 or older, fit to complete the distance and compete at their own risk. Photography or filming will take place and individuals may request removal of images.
