Course Details

It is a multi-terrain route that includes tracks, paths, and roads through the scenic backroads and trails of Apperley Bridge and Horsforth. The profile is undulating and is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Due to safety regulations, the use of headphones during the race is not permitted.
Facilities and Logistics
Race headquarters are located at Woodhouse Grove School, where participants can find changing facilities, showers, toilets, and baggage storage. Water is provided during the event. While there are no distance markers on the course, the race is chip timed for accuracy.
The venue is accessible via public transport, situated a 10-minute walk from Apperley Bridge Train Station and located on the A2 and 60 bus routes. Limited parking is available on-site, and organizers encourage car sharing or parking responsibly in nearby residential areas if the school lot reaches capacity.
Participation and Awards
The event is open to individuals aged 16 years and over. Every finisher receives a memento for their participation. Category prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in the open and female categories, as well as to winners in various veteran age categories.
