About the race
The Apperley Bridge Canter is a scenic, challenging multi-terrain running event held in Apperley Bridge, Bradford. Organized by Horsforth Harriers, the race covers approximately 10 to 11 kilometers on undulating trails, paths, and backroads around Apperley Bridge and Horsforth. The event, now in its 19th year, starts from Woodhouse Grove School and is chip-timed under UK Athletics rules.
Facilities include water stations, toilets, changing rooms, showers, and baggage storage. The race welcomes runners aged 16 and over, with a limit of 550 participants. All finishers receive a memento, and prizes are awarded across various categories.
