Appalachian Fair 2.62 Miles Race
The Appalachian Fair 2.62 Miles Race takes place on August 21, 2026, at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray, Tennessee, as part of the fair's 100th anniversary celebration. Packet pickup and parking are scheduled Friday, August 21, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Appalachian Fairgrounds Farm & Garden Building. Packets include a coupon for two fair rides for children and one complimentary fair gate entrance ticket for adults. The deadline to guarantee a shirt and chosen shirt size is August 7, 2026.
Registration fees change by date. Adult entry fees start at $20 early bird and increase through several tiers up to $40 for late registration at packet pickup. Kids Dash fees start at $5 early bird and increase to $15 for late registration.
Awards are presented for both men and women, including Top 3 overall, Top Male and Female Masters, Top Male and Female GrandMasters, and multiple age group categories from 9 and under through 70 and older.
