Apocalypse Ultramarathon 2026
The Apocalypse Ultramarathon offers a unique event format based in Church Stretton, Shropshire. The competition is designed around four distinct loops named Conquest, War, Death, and Famine. Each loop covers a different distance, and participants can choose to complete one, two, three, or all four loops.
Participants have the flexibility to run or walk the loops in any order and in any direction they choose. The distances available range from 10 miles up to a total of 50 miles, including marathon and 30-mile options. If a participant completes all four loops, they will experience a total elevation gain and loss of over 10,000 feet.

The central headquarters is located at St Laurence's Church Stretton. This site serves as the start and end point for every loop, allowing participants to return to a central hub throughout the day. The headquarters provides a rolling 16-hour buffet of hot and cold food for all participants. The event is open to individuals aged 18 and older.
