APEX: Forge - 24 Hour Loop Challenge
APEX: Forge is a 24 hour loop event taking place at The Firs, Bromsgrove in Worcestershire on 6–7 June 2026. The course runs through woodlands, an orchard and open fields and includes elevation changes with elevated views. Exact GPX and elevation profile will be published before the event.
The format requires participants to complete one loop every hour. Each hourly loop is 6.8 km, broken into three short laps, and may be repeated up to 24 times. Finish a loop early to rest; miss the next hour's start and the participant is removed. Starting within the first 20 seconds of the hour is part of the event rules.
Night laps are mandatory and require a headtorch and reflective kit. The event offers both individual and team relay categories. Teams may enter with two to six members; each hour one team member completes the three laps and at least one team member must be on the start line each hour or the team is eliminated. Individuals eliminated from the solo category may form a team during the event if they register with Event HQ at least ten minutes before the hour and meet the stated conditions.
Entries include timing and tracking, basecamp support, a finisher's medal, event t-shirt, event photography and camp area access. Early bird and standard pricing are listed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
