Seaside Scramble 2026
The Seaside Scramble is an approximately 10 km trail race held on the trails of Crystal Crescent Beach Provincial Park in Sambro Creek, Nova Scotia. The route follows a beach boardwalk to the coastal Pennant Point Trail, then heads inland on singletrack back to the start and finish area.
The course includes a mix of surfaces and terrain: boardwalks, coastal rocky outcrops, boulder fields, and narrow singletrack. There is no official time limit and no mandatory gear. Participants who expect to be out on the course for a couple of hours are advised to bring a headlamp.
Prizing is offered for male and female podium finishers and there are additional prizes for non-podium finishers. A social element follows the race with a complimentary barbecue including hot dogs and veggie dogs; swimming in the ocean is noted as an option for those who wish to take a dip. Dogs are not permitted on the course but are welcome at the start-finish area.
Registration fees are listed on the event page; example pricing appears in the registration section. Merchandise orders have a cutoff of May 22, 2026 at 11:59 pm.
