Seaside Scramble
The Seaside Scramble is a roughly 10 km trail race held at Crystal Crescent Beach Provincial Park, located at 220 Sambro Creek Road, Sambro Creek, Nova Scotia. The route follows a beach boardwalk to the coastal Pennant Point Trail, then returns inland on single-track to the start and finish area.
The course features varied terrain including boardwalks, coastal rocky outcrops, boulder fields, and singletrack trail sections. There will be podium prizes for male and female finishers and additional prizes for non-podium participants. Dogs are not allowed on the race course but are welcome at the start-finish area.
A social gathering follows the race with a complimentary BBQ offering hot dogs and veggie dogs. Participants have the option to swim after the event. There is no time limit and no mandatory gear requirement; organizers suggest bringing a headlamp if a participant expects to be on course for a couple of hours.
Registration is transferable to another person through Race Roster for a fee of $1.95 plus processing charges, subject to a transfer deadline. The cutoff to order merchandise is May 22, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
