Event overview
ANY KIND OF WEATHER RUNNER is organised by CIRCUIT RUNNING EVENTS LIMITED and takes place on 21 February 2026 at Northampton Active, Bedford Rd, Northampton NN4 7AA. The main format is a six-hour challenge in which participants may complete distances from 5k up to an ultra within the time limit; a last lap may be started up to 5:59:59 hours even if the finish is after six hours. The course may be altered after a health and safety review. Finishers receive an event medal and a five-piece goody bag. An aid table at the end of each lap will provide water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of food. The venue has toilets but no separate changing facilities or showers. There is parking at the venue and a non-secure bag drop at the start/finish area. The event is held on public footpaths and is licensed by the TRA and run under UKA Athletics rules.
Course, distances, entry and rules
The course uses laps of either 3.28 miles or 4.37 miles and includes a 5k turn point; a 10k is two 5k laps. Distances and minimum ages listed for entry include:
- 5K - open to entrants aged 12 and over.
- 10K - open to entrants aged 16 and over.
- Half marathon - open to entrants aged 17 and over.
- Marathon - open to entrants aged 18 and over.
- Ultra marathon - open to entrants aged 20 and over.
- 6 hour challenge - open to entrants aged 18 and over.
