Annual Strawberry Hill 5K Run/Walk/Crawl
The Strawberry Hill Museum presents the 9th Annual 5K Run/Walk/Crawl held at the museum courtyard at 720 N. 4th Street in Kansas City, Kansas. Registration for the event is listed at $45 and includes a T shirt with a size selection. Day of event registration is available for $50 with no guaranteed shirt size. The event policy notes that registrations are non refundable.
The course runs through the historic Strawberry Hill neighborhood, beginning and ending in the museum courtyard at 4th Street and Ann Avenue. The route loops through the area between 6th and Armstrong and near Central Avenue and includes the neighborhood hills and alleys that characterize the area. Previous year attendance exceeded 100 participants.
Sponsorship options are offered with benefits on the event T shirt: a $100 sponsor receives a company name or personal name on the shirt and a $250 sponsor receives a logo placement on the back of the shirt. Proceeds from the event are used for museum improvements. Payment is accepted by credit card through PayPal without requiring a PayPal account, and charges may appear as SHECS on card statements.
