Annapolis Royal 5K
The Annapolis Royal 5K takes place in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, on July 12, 2026. The route is Athletics Canada certified and both starts and finishes at the wharf at the intersection of Drury Lane and St. George Street. Race-day expo and bib pick up are located at the Annapolis Farmer's Market.
The course follows St. George Street north, turns onto Chapel Street, St. Anthony Street, returns to St. George Street, continues onto Grange Street, Ritchie and Champlain, then St. Patrick's Lane before a short out-and-back on St. George Street. Runners pass through Fort Anne grounds before returning to the wharf. The course will remain open for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Dogs are not permitted on the course except service dogs.
The event is part of Run Nova Scotia's Run Series and the Run NS Performance Series; Run NS members receive a reduced entry fee by entering their member number. Organizers state fees have not increased; listed rates include an Early Bird fee of CA$35 plus Race Roster fees and a Run NS member fee of CA$30 plus Race Roster fees. Age group and open prizes are offered, and food and music will be available. Timing and race services are provided by Atlantic Chip. Registration is open and places are limited.
