Lily Lake Lollygag Trail Run
On April 25, 2026 the event takes place at Van Tassel Lake Trails, 859 Culloden Road, Mount Pleasant.
The event offers these distances:
- 6k
- 12k
- 1k, 2k, 3k youth races
The 6k and 12k are for ages 12 and up; a recommended entry fee of $20 is offered with a pay-what-you-can option. Youth races are free. Walkers are welcome to register for the 6k. Organizers removed t-shirts to reduce waste and have a flexible payment policy. Proceeds will support the Active Digby Fund. Volunteers are requested.
The race is BYOC Bring Your Own Cup. There will be no bottled water or disposable cups on site; a large water jug will be available for participants to fill personal cups.
Start and finish are at the black X on Lake Road. The main loop is run clockwise: the 6k completes one lap; the 12k completes two laps. Course surfaces include a gravel service road, single track with dirt and woodchips, narrow wooden boardwalks, brief service-road sections, a brushy double track named Crawford Road, and crossings of the parking area. Youth races start at the same X, follow Shady Lane to the Easy Trail to the parking lot, and return to the X; 1k is one lap, 2k two laps, 3k three laps.
