Keji's Backyard Ultra

Website Registration

Keji's Backyard Ultra 2026 is held at Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site in Nova Scotia. The course is a 6.67-km out-and-back gravel trail with roughly 35 meters of elevation per loop, described as a beautiful, easy route. The start/finish is at the Jim Charles Point parking lot.

The event, the fifth edition, uses the “backyard ultra” format: at the top of each hour, runners attempt another loop; those finishing within the hour rest until the next loop, and the race continues until only one runner remains. It includes prize money for winners and encourages carbon offsetting via Tree Canada. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
