Angmering Bluebell Trail Run
The Angmering Bluebell Trail Run takes place in the grounds of the Angmering Park Estate in West Sussex. In its 22nd year, the event offers two measured trail distances that pass through bluebell woods, estate tracks and viewpoints near the South Downs.
Both courses follow the same route for the first 6 km. After that the 10 mile route continues onto private tracks toward the South Downs and returns via Windy Ridge and The View. The 10 km route follows the Monarchs Way through the woodland. Competitors run in a clockwise direction once inside the woods. There is a cut off checkpoint at 6 km for the 10 mile race.
Event facilities are located near the former Fox Pub where parking, toilets, pre-race coffee and the race briefing are based. The finish area is at The Worlds End Pub beside Patching Pond; the commentator will be located there and runners and spectators can purchase tea, coffee and bacon baps. Courses are marshalled by Sussex Search & Rescue Team and the organiser’s team. The 10 mile course has two water stations at 3.8 miles and 5.8 miles; the 10 km course has one water station at 6 km.
Competitors receive a bespoke finish medal and free photos provided by Sussex Sport Photography. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
