Event details

The Angmering Bluebell Trail Run takes place on Sunday 26 April 2026 at The Fox Pub, Arundel Road, Patching, West Sussex BN13 3UJ. The event is held on the Angmering Park Estate and is in its 22nd year. Distances offered include:

  • 10 mile
  • 10 km

Race numbers are posted to competitors the week before the event. There are unlikely to be any entries on the day. Canicross categories are offered; separate registration and a supplement apply.

Course and facilities

Both races run largely through woodland on the Angmering Park Estate. Runners follow the same route for the first 6 km; the 10 mile then continues onto private tracks at the foot of the South Downs before returning via Windy Ridge and The View, while the 10 km continues on the Monarchs Way through the bluebell woods. The 10 mile has a cut-off checkpoint at 6 km.

Courses are marshalled by Sussex Search & Rescue Team and the event organiser’s team. There are two water stations on the 10 mile (at 3.8 miles and 5.8 miles) and one on the 10 km (at 6 km). Parking and event toilets open from 07:30. Competitors receive a bespoke medal and free race photographs supplied by Sussex Sport Photography. Course maps are published by the organiser. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
