About the race
The Angels vs Devils 5k is a themed running event held at Pratt Park and St Clair Brooks Park in Fredericksburg, VA. Points from this event count toward the Year-Long 5k & Back of the Pack Series and the Fall Series.
Participants choose to be an Angel or a Devil. Devils pick up packets and start and finish at Pratt Park; Angels pick up packets and start and finish at St Clair Brooks Park. Both groups start simultaneously and run opposite directions on the same(ish) course.

Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (Dri-Fit) event shirt, and chip timing. Live results are posted on Athlinks and a QR code is available at the race; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the event. A virtual race option is offered. Walkers and strollers are welcome.
The course is paved and fairly flat with minimal hills and a short gravel section. Water stations: four on the 5k at approximately miles 0.75, 1.25, 1.85 and 2.35; eight on the 10k at approximately miles 0.75, 1.25, 1.85, 2.35, 3.85, 4.35, 4.95 and 5.45. Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are located near the parking lots.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in standard age categories. The event partners with Operation Turbo. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed before Oct 20. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
