5K Angel Run
The 5K Angel Run is Kennedy's Angel Gowns' annual fundraiser held during Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. The event in Chesapeake, Virginia, takes place on October 10, 2026, at Oak Grove Park, 409 Byron St, Chesapeake VA 23320, and also offers a virtual option.
Distances and formats:
- 5K in-person Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk with all-terrain stroller option
- 5K Virtual Run/Walk with race packet shipped after race day
- 500 yards Kids Fun Run for children aged 10 and below
Registration details vary by event. Registration opens July 16, 2026. In-person 5K registration and stroller option include a fee of $35; the virtual 5K fee is $45; the Kids Fun Run fee is $10. Registrations for the in-person 5K and stroller option close August 31, 2026. Virtual registration remains open through October 10, 2026. Registrants who add an angel baby’s name by September 30 will have that name included on the commemorative race shirt.
Proceeds support Kennedy's Angel Gowns programs, including The Angel Box, Angel Baby Funeral, Cooling Units, and Community-Based Doula Support.
