Event overview
The ANGEL RUN 5K is held on July 26, 2026 in North Star, Ohio. The race starts and finishes at North Star Park, located at 90 North Star Rd, North Star, OH 45350. The event includes a children’s Fun Run (race day signup only). Proceeds support a $1,000 Angel Run Scholarship and donations to the North Star Fire Department and the North Star American Legion.
Distances and fees
- 5K - all ages, with shirt
- 5K - all ages, without shirt
- Shirt only - no race
Pre-entry fees (through July 10): $20 with shirt, $10 without shirt, $15 shirt only. Day-of-race fees (after July 10): $25 with shirt (while supplies last), $15 without shirt. Fun Run fee is $1 and is available only on race day.
Course, timing and awards
The course is described as flat and scenic, using a down-and-back layout with water stops and mile markers. Electronic chip timing will be used. Awards include plaques for the top three male and female overall finishers and medals for the top three in each age category. Many door prizes are donated by sponsors; winners must be present to claim prizes.
Additional notes
Participants may submit photos of loved ones to be placed along the route on race day. Mail registrations are accepted by post to the event P.O. Box by the pre-entry deadline. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
