Andrew's Top Gun Run 5K
Andrew's Top Gun Run 5K is scheduled for March 28, 2026 in Calverton, NY at EPCAL Park, 962 Burman Blvd. The event includes an in-person 5K, a virtual 5K, and a Fun Run for children 12 and under. The course uses the park runway and is described as flat and fast.
The event is organized by the Suffolk County Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Andrew McMorris Foundation to raise funds for scholarships and scouterships. The in-person 5K is chip timed. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by March 18. Virtual participants may run their chosen course and upload results and photos; virtual runners are not eligible for awards.
Awards for the 5K include the top three male and female overall finishers and top three males and females in multiple age groups. Refreshments are provided for finishers, and results are posted online after the race. Pre-race packet pickup is available the evening before on the runway.
