Andrea Holden Thanksgiving 5K Road Race
The Andrea Holden Thanksgiving 5K Road Race is an annual community benefit run and walk held in Dennis, Massachusetts. The event marks its 25th year in 2026 and supports a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization focused on the health and wellness of children in the local community. It is held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving with The Dennis Inn on Scarsdale Road serving as the event site; parking is provided at the Dennis Playhouse.
The race commemorates the memory of Andrea Holden, a second grader who died in 1990. The event welcomes walkers and runners of the community and includes fundraising activity and local sponsorship. Sponsorship options are tiered and listed with specific donation levels: road signs for $100; one line business name on the shirt plus a road sign for $150; small business logo on the shirt plus road sign for $250; larger logo on the shirt plus road sign for $500; and a gold level at $1,000 or more that includes a large logo on the shirt, a road sign, and five free registrations. Donations of $150 or more include a long sleeve cotton shirt.
Long sleeve cotton shirts are offered in the following sizes: youth large; women’s small, medium, large; and men’s medium, large, X-large, XX-large.
