...And the Beat Goes On
The ...And the Beat Goes On is the third annual 5K event organized by Florida Cardiovascular Partners in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. It is scheduled for February 21, 2026 and is intended to raise awareness of cardiovascular health. A majority of the proceeds will go to the American Heart Association and local charities including the Jessica Clinton MVP Foundation and the Hibiscus Children's Village.
The event offers three 5K options: an on-site Walk/Run with a shirt and medal, a Bare-Bones entry without a shirt, and a Virtual 5K with a shirt and medal. The virtual entry is open to ages 10 to 99. The course is described as flat and accurately measured, beginning at the Florida Cardiovascular Partners office in Tradition. The event is stroller friendly and will use an official clock and timing chips. Finisher and placement medals will be awarded; only 300 finishers medals are available and shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants.
Placement awards will be given for male and female categories across age brackets from 10-14 up to 80 plus, plus overall male and female awards. Packet pickup is at Fleet Feet in Port Saint Lucie at 11586 SW Village Parkway with pickup on February 20 and additional pickup at the race location on February 21.
