Florida Cardiovascular Partners presents the fourth annual 5K event named "...And the Beat Goes On" on February 20, 2027 in Tradition, Port Saint Lucie, Florida. The event is a 5K walk and run intended to raise awareness about cardiovascular health, with a majority of proceeds directed to the American Heart Association and local charities including The Jessica Clinton MVP Foundation and The Hibiscus Children's Village.
The in-person 5K is stroller friendly and will use an accurate flat course that begins at the Florida Cardiovascular Partners office in Tradition. An official clock and timing chips will be used for results. Participants receive a souvenir race day shirt and a goodie bag when available; finisher medals and placement medals are provided. Medals are limited to 400, and shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants.
Registration options include an in-person 5K with shirt and medal, a reduced fee "Bare-Bones" 5K without a shirt, and a virtual 5K option that includes a shirt and medal. Fees vary by option. Placement awards are offered for overall male and female finishers and for male and female age brackets: 7 to 13, 14 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 plus.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet in Port Saint Lucie at 11586 SW Village Parkway on the days before and of the event. Discounts and sponsorship opportunities are available through the event organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
