- 5K (5 km)
Course Details
The half marathon is a "lollipop" style course around March Point. It is described as flat and offers views of the water and Mount Baker. The start and finish are on the east side of the Swinomish Casino at 12885 Casino Drive in Anacortes, Washington.
The course begins with an out-and-back section on a private gravel road on Swinomish Tribal land, which is normally closed to the public. It passes back in front of the casino on Casino Drive, then turns right onto March Point Road for a full loop. The finish is along a gravel trail on the north side of the property.
The 5K course is an out-and-back route on a runnable road or trail located south of the Swinomish Casino.
Event Information
Chip timing is used. Participants can pick up their race bibs starting at 7:00 AM.
Participant Perks
All finishers in the half marathon receive a beanie and a finisher's medal. All 5K finishers receive a finisher's medal.
Participant Guidelines
Dogs are not allowed on the course but are permitted in the start/finish area. Single strollers with bicycle-like tires are allowed on the 5K course but not on the half marathon course; those with strollers are asked to start near the back. Parking is available in a grassy area east of the start/finish location.
The event has a no-refund policy. Participants registered for the half marathon can request to switch to the 5K via email. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
