Amityville PBA 5K
The Amityville PBA 5K is held at James A. Caples Memorial Park, 398 S. Bayview Ave., Amityville, NY 11701. The event page indicates registration is not yet open and references a previous staging of the race.
On-site amenities include parking and restrooms. Runners who register by May 1 receive a t-shirt; a limited number of additional t-shirts will be available for purchase on the day. Water, bagels, donuts, and coffee are provided for participants. Up to the first 200 registrants will receive a medal, and finish line photos are provided free of charge. Live online, email, and text results are offered, and a personalized bib is available for those who register at least three weeks in advance.
Awards include medals for participants up to the first 200 registrants, overall awards for the top two male and top two female finishers, and a top police officer award that is eligible for overall recognition. Age group recognition is offered online for 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff beginning one hour before the event; a bib number is required for pickup. Last-minute registrants within 24 hours may receive their bib number by text. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
