Amityville PBA 5K
This event is a community 5K held at James A. Caples Memorial Park, 398 S. Bayview Ave., Amityville, NY 11701. Registration is not yet open and is scheduled to open ahead of the date shown on the event site.
On-site amenities include parking and restrooms, water, bagels, donuts, and coffee for runners. Participants who register before May 1st will receive a t-shirt, and a limited number of shirts will be available for purchase on the day of the event. All participants will receive a medal, subject to availability for the first 200 registrants. Finish line photos are provided free of charge. Live timing with online, text, and email results will be available. Runners who register at least three weeks in advance will receive a personalized bib.
Awards include medals for all participants up to the first 200 registrants, overall awards for the top two male and top two female finishers, and a top police officer award eligible for overall placement. Age group recognition is provided online for the following groups: 18 and under, 19–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 plus. Bib pickup is managed by event staff beginning one hour before the event; a bib number is required for pickup and can be obtained via self lookup or bib lookup. Last minute registrants who register within 24 hours may receive their bib number by text. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
