Amityville PBA 5K
The Amityville PBA 5K is a community road race held at James A. Caples Memorial Park in Amityville, NY (398 S. Bayview Ave., Amityville, NY 11701). A previous edition took place on May 16, 2026. Registration for the next edition is not yet open.
The event features a 5K distance. On-site parking and restrooms are available. Registered participants receive water, bagels, donuts, and coffee. Runners who register before May 1 receive a t-shirt, and a limited number of shirts will be available for purchase on the day of the event. Up to the first 200 registrants receive a medal. Personalized bibs are provided to participants who register three weeks in advance. Free finish line photos are offered and live results are delivered online, by text, and by email.
Awards include the top two male and female overall finishers and the top police officer, who is eligible for overall awards. Age group online recognition is given for 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Bib pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event and requires a bib number; last-minute registrants within 24 hours receive their bib number by text shortly after registration.
