Amityville PBA 5K
The Amityville PBA 5K is a community road race held at James A. Caples Memorial Park in Amityville, New York. The event listing shows the race date as May 16 and registration is not yet open.
Onsite amenities include parking and restrooms, postrace refreshments such as water, bagels, donuts, and coffee, and free finish line photos. Participants who register by May 1 will receive a t shirt, and a limited number of t shirts will be available for purchase on the day of the event. Runners who register three weeks in advance are eligible for a personalized bib.
Participants may receive a medal, provided to the first 200 registrants. Results are delivered live and by text and email, and finish line video and same day pictures are provided. Bib pickup is managed by event staff on site; bib number is required for pickup and last minute registrants within 24 hours may receive their bib number by text very quickly.
Awards include medals for participants up to the first 200 registrants, top two male and top two female overall, and a top police officer award eligible for overall awards. Age group online recognition is listed for the following groups: 18 and under, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
