Amity Island 5K
The Amity Island 5K is part of the Amity Island 5K & Fun Run held in Edgartown, Massachusetts on August 2, 2026. The in-person 5K starts and finishes at the Farm Institute at Katama Farm and follows local roads and a bike path toward South Beach.
The course is described as flat and follows the bike path along Katama Road, then turns onto Edgartown Bay Road before returning to Aero Drive for the finish. Organizers note the course uses the same roads as previous years, run in reverse.
Registration details differ by event. In-person registration opens April 24, 2026 and closes July 31, 2026; the in-person 5K fee is $30. The kids Fun Run for ages eight and under has a $5 fee and does not include shirts or a swag bag, though participating children receive a surprise. A virtual 5K option is available; virtual registration opens April 25, 2026 and closes July 28, 2026, fee $40, and shirts are provided depending on inventory with shipping included.
