Amesbury Days 5K & 1 Mile
- 5K - revised start and finish, one water stop at approximately 1.8 miles.
- 1 Mile - new abridged course following a portion of the 5K route.
This event is part of the Amesbury Days community celebration and takes place at Heritage Park in Amesbury, MA. Organizers report a slightly revised 5K route that removes one final large hill and adjusts the finish. The 1 Mile is an abbreviated version of the same route.
Packet pickup opens on race day at Heritage Park. A bag drop will be available next to the race registration tent. Walkers, dogs, and strollers are permitted; all dogs must be leashed.
Registration includes a custom race bib, a soft short sleeve shirt, and a digital finisher certificate. On-site features include music from local artists, lawn games, free face painting for children, complimentary beer provided by Mill 77 Brewing for participants 21 and older via the ticket on the bib, and vendor food and sampling. Custom pint glasses and additional discounted beer tickets are available through pre-registration.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, top non-binary finisher, and first place in multiple age groups from 15-under through 90+. The 5K also offers a team challenge: official teams must enter at least five members including one female; prizes include cash and race credit rewards. The event proceeds rain or shine.
