A finishers area provides lunch options including a meat or veggie Parkway Wrap, fresh fruit, and a cookie, with live Mariachi music.
The event has a history of donating proceeds to benefit the American River Parkway. To date the race has donated over $400,000 toward projects such as habitat restoration, invasive plant removal, trash cleanup, kids interactive nature trails, and drinking fountain installations.
