Amber Room Run from the Sun 5K
The event is a community fundraising 5K held on August 20, 2026 at The Amber Room Colonnade, 1 Stacey Rd, Danbury, CT 06811, United States. The in-person race and a virtual 5K are both offered on the same date.

Proceeds support Ann's Place and its cancer support services. All funds from the event go directly to Ann's Place to help keep those services free of charge to members of the community. Participants can create individual fundraising pages or team pages. Fundraisers who raise $250 receive a Mission Medal.
The event includes a post-race outdoor celebration on the grounds of the Amber Room with an outdoor barbecue, beer and other refreshments, a DJ, and an awards ceremony. Attendees are invited to bring picnic blankets or folding chairs to use on the grounds. Social media engagement is encouraged using the hashtag #runfromthesun5K.
