Alston Gala Fell Race - 50th Anniversary
The Alston Gala Fell Race returns to Alston playing field for a route that goes to Park Fell and back. The course covers 6.2 km (3.9 miles) with approximately 211 m (692 ft) of ascent. The start line is at the north end of the playing field and the event is set in the North Pennines region of England, venue postal code CA9 3HY.
Entry is open in advance with a listed opening date of 1 December 2025 and a closing date of 26 June 2026. Entry on the day is allowed. Minimum age for entry is 18 with age calculated on the day of the event. Entry fees are shown as £3.00 for FRA members and £5.00 for non members. All entry fees are being allocated to the local mountain rescue team, who will also be marshalling the course.
