Event overview
The Allan Scally Road Relay Race 2026 is a team road relay held at Glasgow Green on Saturday 28 February 2026. The race includes the Scottish Students Road Relay Championships. The format is a 4 x 5 km relay on an AUKCM certified IAAF measured, traffic-free course. Race headquarters are at Glasgow Green Football Centre, 28 King’s Drive, Glasgow G40 1HB.
Entry, teams and rules
Pre-entry is priced at £44 per four-person team; this fee includes the Green Tax paid to Glasgow Council for each person using the Green. An optional £1 donation to Athletics Trust Scotland is offered. Teams can be mixed (two females and two males). Competitors must be 15 years old or older on 31/08/2025. Team managers may register one or multiple teams and will receive instructions later to add individual participants. The closing date is to be confirmed. At the time of the notice, 21 teams have entered.
Course, facilities and prizes
The course has a certificate of accuracy and is described as traffic free. Parking is available in surrounding areas at Glasgow Green; no parking is allowed at the Football Centre. Toilets will be located near the start and finish area; limited toilet facilities are available inside the football centre and no showers are provided. Prize money is offered across men’s, women’s, mixed, masters, age-group and community categories, with listed awards for team placings, fastest laps and course record bonuses.
