Event Overview
The 55th Allan Scally Memorial Road Race is a 4 x 5km relay event. It takes place on Glasgow Green. It is a certified, IAAF-measured (AUKCM) traffic-free course.
Event Details
The race is also the host for The Scottish Students Road Relay Championships. Participants must be 15 years old or older on 31 August 2025 to compete. Teams must consist of four people and can be mixed (two females and two males).
Team Categories
Teams are categorized for entry:
- Club – For teams affiliated with Scottish Athletics, England Athletics, Welsh Athletics, or Athletics Northern Ireland. Universities should declare as a Club.
- Community – For teams from Jog Scotland members, Parkrun groups, or similar non-affiliated community groups.
- Corporate – For teams representing businesses or organisations.
- Non-Binary – Open to participants who identify as non-binary.
Registration & Fees
The pre-entry cost is £44 per four-person team. An optional donation to the Athletics Trust Scotland is £1.
Facilities
Parking is available in the surrounding areas of Glasgow Green, but parking is not allowed at the Glasgow Green Football Centre. Toilets are located near the start/finish area, with limited facilities in the football centre. No showers are available on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
