Allan Scally Memorial Road Race 2027
The event is the 56th Allan Scally Memorial Road Race, a 4 x 5 km relay held at Glasgow Green on Saturday 27 February 2027. The event includes the Scottish Students Road Relay Championships and is a Scottish Athletics permit event. The course is AUKCM certified as an IAAF measured course and is traffic free.
Race headquarters are at Glasgow Green Football Centre, 28 King’s Drive, Glasgow G40 1HB. Pre-entry cost is listed at £44 per four-person team (to be confirmed) and there is an optional £1 donation to Athletics Trust Scotland. Teams may be mixed with two females and two males; competitors must be 15 years old or older on 31/8/2025 to be eligible. Team managers can register one or multiple teams and will later add individual participants; entries are currently closed.
Team types accepted include club teams affiliated with UK governing bodies, university teams (declared as clubs), community teams such as Jog Scotland or parkrun groups, corporate teams representing businesses or organisations, and teams entered as non-binary.
Facilities around Glasgow Green include parking in surrounding areas; strictly no parking at the Football Centre. Toilets will be available near the start and finish with limited facilities in the football centre and no showers on site.
