All-Out Dog Days
The All-Out Dog Days is a running event held in Westminster, Colorado, situated between Denver and Boulder. The courses utilize the Big Dry Creek Trail, featuring out-and-back routes that travel northeast. Participants encounter a mix of surfaces, including soft surface sections along the longer distances, while viewing the Front Range and the Flatirons on the horizon.
Available distances include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10K
- 5K
The Half Marathon course follows a gentle downhill trajectory to a turnaround point at mile 6.55. This route includes 10 aid station stops and 4 restroom facilities. The 10K participants follow the same trail to a turnaround at mile 3.1, with 4 aid stations and 2 restroom stops available. The 5K route reaches its turnaround at mile 1.55 and provides one aid station with a toilet facility near that point.
This event includes a dog division with awards for the fastest dogs at each distance, as well as a dog-themed costume contest. In addition to the in-person races, virtual options are available for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. Virtual participants receive a distance medal and maintain eligibility for series awards, such as the Run Amok Championship and alumni tags.
