All-American Mile Run : Highland, IN
The All-American Mile Run is an annual, chip-timed one mile road race for all ages held in Highland, Indiana. The 42nd edition serves as the kickoff to the Twilight Independence Day Parade and is included in the Calumet Striders 2026 Gold Cup Series.
The course begins at 40th Street and Kennedy Avenue near 9145 Kennedy Avenue. Packet pickup and race day registration occur at the SToH Administration Building on the day of the event from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM. Early registration is available prior to the event; fees are set at $15 through July 2 and $20 for race day registration. Race day registration accepts cash or check only.
Timing is electronic with chip timing. Awards are planned for top finishers and age divisions, including top three in each age division, overall male and female winners, masters male and female winners, and top three Clydesdale and Athena finishers. There are special time-based prizes, including recognition for the fastest male under four minutes and a prize for the fastest female under 4:50, with a noted monetary award for that female time standard.
