About the race
The Triathlon at the Alice Springs Masters Games is part of the multi-sport program held in Alice Springs, Northern Territory from 10 to 17 October 2026. The race is scheduled on 17 October 2026 at the Alice Springs Aquatic Centre and includes individual and team options.
Distances offered:
- Short Course: 300 m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Long Course and Team: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
The event serves as a State and World qualifier and applies an age minimum of 18 as of 31 December 2026. Age divisions are grouped in five-year bands from 18-24 through 80+. Team entries are organised by combined ages with bands such as 75-105, 106-140, 141-170, 171-200, and 200+.
Entry fees listed for the triathlon component are $60 per person for long course, $50 per person for short course, and $25 per person for team triathlon; an additional Games entry fee applies. Entries close on 30 September 2026.
