Alhambra Pumpkin Run - Downtown Alhambra
The Alhambra Pumpkin Run is a family-focused running event and Halloween festival held in downtown Alhambra on October 25, 2026. The event supports the Alhambra Educational Foundation and combines road races with live entertainment, a farmers market, a kids costume contest, a Kids Zone, and a beer garden.
Distances offered include:
- 10K two loops of the 5K route
- 5K Main Street course with turns, U-turns, and a finish on Main Street
- 1K kids loop with a police bike guiding the route
- Kiddie 1/2K short loop for ages 4 to 5
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at The Granada. Registered participants receive a commemorative t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, a bib with timing chip, and a sponsored tote for 10K, 5K and 1K finishers. Chip timing is provided for the 10K and 5K; the 1K is excluded from chip timing. The event offers free photos, sponsor giveaways, and a beverage option for adults 21 and over as well as a non-alcoholic option for younger participants.
Age and safety rules are specified for each distance: children 6 and older may register for the 5K and 10K, children 12 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult, and children 0 to 5 may participate without registration. Age divisions for the kids races may be adjusted based on registration. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. The event is held rain or shine.
