Algonac High School - Color Out Cancer Run 2026
Algonac High School hosts a community color run and walk organized by the school's National Honor Society. The course begins and ends at Algonac Jr/Sr High School, 5200 Taft Road, Algonac, MI. Participants may run or walk; runners are asked to start first so their time can be tracked and walkers will follow to keep traffic moving.
Distances:
- 1 mile fun run/walk
- 3.1 miles run/walk
One registration includes a T-shirt, bandanna, and an individual color packet. T-shirts and bandannas are distributed at check-in; day-of T-shirts are limited and given on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is available online or on the day of the event; registration opens 12/31/2025 and closes 05/11/2026. The published registration fee is $40.00. Cash, credit, or check will be accepted for fees on site.
Strollers and wagons are encouraged for participants bringing young children. School restrooms will be available the day of the event. Proceeds will benefit an individual with medical expenses related to cancer, and Woman's Life Insurance Society will match the first $500 raised.
