The 2026 Alert Road Race
The 2026 Alert Road Race takes place on June 20, 2026, at the Alert Covenant Church, 15820 Green Randolph Road, Leonardville, Kansas. The event is described as a rural tradition held rain or shine and includes a post-race breakfast provided by local volunteers.
The event program includes the following distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile
The 10K and 5K courses include both paved and gravel segments. The 1 Mile course is an out-and-back on an all paved road. Water stations will be available on all three courses. Distances will be verified by the Alert Trail Life Troop.
Each participant will receive a T-shirt. Awards will be given to top finishers. All proceeds from the event will help offset the cost of Alert youth camper registrations at Covenant Cedars Bible Camp for the summer. Race day packet pickup and day-of registration are provided by the organizers. The event location and course details are centered at the Alert Covenant Church in Leonardville.
