Alert Road Race : Leonardville, Kansas
The Alert Road Race is scheduled for June 20, 2026, at Alert Covenant Church, 15820 Green Randolph Road, Leonardville, Kansas. The event is presented as a rural tradition and will be held rain or shine.
The event program includes these distances:
- 10K (about 6 miles) on paved and gravel roads with scenic hills
- 5K (3.1 miles) on mostly flat paved and gravel surfaces
- 1 Mile paved out-and-back course
All courses will have water stations. Each participant will receive a T-shirt when available, and awards will be given to top finishers. A post-race breakfast is provided by a local volunteer group. Event proceeds will help offset the cost of youth camper registrations at Covenant Cedars Bible Camp.
Registration opens February 26. The online registration fee is $20; in-person registration on race morning costs $30. Due to the venue size and location, four-legged animals are not allowed at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
