Alan Jones Vestal XX
The Alan Jones Vestal XX is a road running event held in Vestal, New York, with start and finish at the Vestal Senior Center, 201 Main Street. The main event is a USATF certified 20-kilometer course that runs over the hills of Vestal. On-site parking is available.
The 2026 edition marks the 54th running and is described as the oldest road race in the Southern Tier. A two person relay option is offered; each relay participant completes 10 kilometers. Prize structure includes awards for the top three open men, top three open women, and top three open non-binary finishers, followed by age-graded prizes for the top 27 participants based on age-graded results. Top Male, Top Female and Top Mixed/Non-Binary relay teams receive prizes. Relay participants are not eligible for age-graded prizes and do not count toward the Vestal Honor Roll.
Registration opens April 1 and closes June 17. Standard registration fees are $30 for the 20K and $25 per person for the relay; a $2 discount applies to TCRC members. Race day registration is available at higher fees. Participants who register by June 4 will receive a tri-blend race t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
