Event overview
The Al Lewis 10-Miler and 5 Miler takes place on Sunday, January 11, 2026, in Washington, DC (Ohio Dr SW, 20024). The race program includes two distances:

Each event has a registration fee of $10. Registration closes on January 11, 2026. An awards presentation for overall winners is planned after the races.
Course and logistics
Both races follow Ohio Drive SW around Hains Point on East Potomac Park. The 10 Miler is a double out-and-back around Hains Point, running inside the park gate to inside the park gate. The starting line is located on Ohio Drive SW near the eastern gate to East Potomac Park, facing the Washington Channel.
Parking is limited near the tennis courts on Buckeye Drive and along Ohio Drive; those areas operate on a first-come, first-served basis. An alternative is Parking Lot B (NPS) on the Potomac side of the peninsula. If those lots are full, additional street parking is available further along Ohio Drive SW after the bridge.
