Akron Marathon Race Series
The Akron Marathon Race Series is a summer-long sequence of running events that began in 2003. It has grown from a single race and is known for its organization and community support. The series welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.
Race Events
The series consists of three separate race weekends:
- ACME FRESH MARKET FOUNDATION 8K & 1-MILE: This event is held on June 27, 2026 at the University of Akron.
- GOODYEAR HALF MARATHON & 10K: This event is held on August 8, 2026 at the Goodyear World Headquarters.
- FirstEnergy Akron Marathon, Half Marathon & Team Relay: This event is held on September 26, 2026 in Downtown Akron.
