2026 Akron Aruna Run
The Akron Aruna Run is a fundraising 5K held on June 13, 2026 at Copley High School, 3807 Ridgewood Road, Copley, OH. The event is organized as part of the Aruna Run Race Series; 100 percent of registration fees and additional donations support Aruna, an international human rights nonprofit that works to create lifelong freedom for survivors of human trafficking.
Registration is tiered by date and fees have been published for early, standard, and late periods. Volunteers are listed as free. Packet pickup is available on site at Copley High School. Ample parking is available at the school.
Event swag includes an Aruna Beach Bag made by Aruna Artisans and a District Tri-Blend Tee in Army Green. The t-shirt logo and beach bag buttons feature the names of ten trafficked women whose freedom the series supports. A course map and race timing are provided, with Mid Ohio Race Management listed as race timer.
Awards are planned for top female and male finishers aged 18 and above, top girl and boy finishers under 12, and the top fundraiser; each of these awards includes an Aruna Tote Bag and a $50 Aruna Shop gift card. Team and fundraising incentives include a $25 Aruna gift card for every ten team members and a $25 gift card for each $250 raised individually.
