2026 Akron Aruna Run
The event takes place on June 13, 2026 at Copley High School, 3807 Ridgewood Road, Copley, OH. The marked distance for the event is 5K. Ample parking is available at the school.
Registration is offered in tiered pricing: $35 for March 6 to May 9, $40 for May 10 to June 6, and $45 for June 7 to June 13. Volunteers register free. Participants who register by May 25 are guaranteed a t-shirt and size.
One hundred percent of registration fees and additional donations support the Aruna Project’s programs for survivors of human trafficking. The event lists a fundraising goal of $20,000 and shows funds raised to date. Money raised primarily supports training centers in Southeast Asia, where services include meals, counseling, and skills development.
Event swag includes an Aruna Beach Bag made by Aruna Artisans and a District Tri-Blend tee in army green; the shirt and bag feature the names of ten women highlighted by the series. Awards at the finish recognize top male and female finishers 18 and over, top boy and girl under 12, and the top fundraiser; each receives an Aruna Tote Bag and a $50 Aruna Shop gift card. Team and fundraising incentives include tiered gift-card rewards for team size and individual fundraising milestones.
