AirVenture Runway 5K
AirVenture Runway 5K is a charity run and walk held during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh on July 25, 2026. The event uses a new course that takes participants through the AirVenture grounds, where they move among parked and displayed aircraft.
The event is presented as a fun run and walk. The course is open to walkers, first time runners, and more experienced participants. The route runs through areas of the AirVenture grounds and offers views of aircraft and the event community on site.
Support services on the grounds include shower facilities and a Gear Check. Items left at Gear Check are transferred to the main Lost and Found, located across Knapp Street from the FAA control tower. Packet pickup is handled in the EAA Aviation Museum lobby during AirVenture; a photo ID or registration receipt is required for pickup. A representative may pick up packets for a group if prior notification is provided and identification is presented.
Parking is available in J Lot on the morning of the event; participants may use available parking and organizers note that carpooling is encouraged. Proceeds from the run benefit the Oshkosh Firefighters Charitable Trust. Awards, refreshment, and contributing sponsors are listed for the event.
