Spirit of Inclusion
The 11th annual Spirit of Inclusion event takes place in the residential neighborhood of Hopyard Farms in King George, Virginia. The course goes through local streets and is characterized by a relatively flat terrain. This event emphasizes local community support and welcomes a variety of participation styles, including running, walking, and rolling.
Participants have access to several different distances and categories:
- 5K (In Person, Angel Pusher, or Athlete Rider)
- 1 Mile Harvest Hustle
- Half Mile Harvest Hustle
The event includes an annual costume contest where participants are encouraged to dress in theme. The race structure supports inclusion through specific categories for Duo teams, where runners assist athletes in racing chairs. In addition to the physical event in King George, a virtual participation option is available for those unable to attend in person.
