Event details
The 2026 Aiken Turkey Trot and 1-Mile Fun Run takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026 at Citizen's Park, 651 Old Airport Road, Aiken, SC 29803. The event benefits Toys for Tots and participants are asked to consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy. All finishers will receive a 2026 Aiken Turkey Trot commemorative medal and age category winners will receive an Aiken Turkey Trot mug. Two costume prizes of $25 Visa gift cards will be awarded to the best dressed runners.

Registration and race logistics
Registration fees are listed as $20 for the 1-Mile Fun Run, $25 for the 5K non-chip timed option, and $30 for the 5K chip timed option. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by November 6, 2026; shirts after that date are not guaranteed and extras are distributed first come, first served. Packet pickup and late registration are available on November 25 at Citizens Park Complex 1 and on race morning; the chip timing registration option will not be available at packet pickup or on race day. The 5K chip timed option is electronically timed by 2 Girls and a Clock, LLC. The 1-Mile and non-chip 5K are not officially timed though a clock will be displayed. Awards for chip timed results include overall top male and female and top three in each age division (12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and up). Strollers are allowed, leashed dogs are allowed, and walking is permitted. Results are posted online within 24 hours. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
