AHEPA Olympic 5K : Wilmington, DE
AHEPA Olympic 5K is a community running and walking event held at Rockford Tower on Lookout Drive in Wilmington, DE. The event is organized by the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association, Wilmington Chapter 95, and notes that proceeds will benefit Odyssey Charter School. The event references the Hellenic ideals embodied in the Olympic spirit.

- Competitive walking 5K for walkers only, no running or jogging permitted
- 1 Mile non-competitive walk
Registration details list a standard fee and a student discount for ages 18 and under. Bibs are non-transferable and registrations are non-refundable. Dogs are not allowed on site or on the course due to insurance liability.
Amenities include custom race shirts, post-race food and beverages, and music. Timing is provided by R2R Timing using the MYLAPS BibTag system. Results will be posted online during and after the event. An award ceremony follows the race; top finisher awards for overall male and female and overall masters are scored by gun time, while other age-group awards and placements are scored by chip net time. Awards are given by age categories and for top walkers. Photos will be posted on the event organizer's Facebook page after the event.
