Adventure Fest at 18 Road
Adventure Fest is a weekend outdoor festival in Fruita, CO, held at the North Fruita Desert Trailhead on May 9-10, 2026. The event combines trail running, mountain biking, gravel racing, guided canyoneering, clinics, kids activities, and on-site camping.
Featured race distances and formats include:
- 13.8-mile Fruita Trail Half Marathon
- Sarlacc Attack Long Course 50K, 3,400' climb
- Sarlacc Attack Short Course and 22K Zippity
- Dirty Edge Gravel 50K, 2,700' climb
Additional activities include guided canyoneering in Colorado National Monument with Glenwood Climbing Guides for participants age 8 and up, a women's gravel clinic and group ride, and several kids races with age-specific categories. The festival offers community elements such as packet pick-up, merchandise and sponsor booths, awards, and evening camp activities.
Campsites are reserved for the event and include a fire ring, concrete picnic table, 12' x 12' tent pad, and graveled parking. Vault toilets are within walking distance. There is no water, electricity, or onsite garbage collection; campers must bring water, trash bags, and firewood. Each campsite is limited to ten people and two vehicles.
