AdventHealth Cool Sommer Mornings Series Event #2
Event #2 of the AdventHealth Cool Sommer Mornings Triathlon and 5K Series takes place on July 11, 2027 at Clermont Waterfront Park, 100 3rd Street, Clermont, FL. The series runs June through September with four themed race days; Event #2 carries the theme Quest for Freedom: Rise of the Phoenix.
This race day offers a mix of running and multisport formats held along the lakefront and nearby course sections. Distances and formats at this event include:
- 5K Run/Walk: 3.1 miles along Lake Minneola scenic trail
- Sprint Triathlon: Swim 0.25 miles, Bike 8.2 miles, Run 3.1 miles
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 1 mile, Bike 8.2 miles, Run 3.1 miles
- Sprint Aquabike: Swim 0.25 miles, Bike 8.2 miles
- Sprint Aquathlon: Swim 0.25 miles, Run 3.1 miles
- Double Sprint Triathlon: Repeat sprint triathlon sequence
- Double Sprint Duathlon: Repeat duathlon sequence
- Double Sprint Aquabike: Repeat aquabike sequence
Team relay options are available for the sprint and double sprint triathlon formats. A High School Student Challenge entry is offered for youths ages 14 to 19 enrolled in high school, with a student only wave and awards presented to the top five boys and girls in that challenge. A virtual event option is also available, with domestic shipping for participants in the USA.
