Adirondack Race to the Lakes
The Adirondack Race to the Lakes is a 12 km (7.5 mile) road race held on June 20, 2026, that starts on College Drive at SUNY Adirondack and follows the Warren County Bikeway to a finish at Lake George Battlefield State Park at the foot of Lake George. The event is based at SUNY Adirondack, 640 Bay Road, Queensbury, NY.
Entry fees differ by membership status: Adirondack Runners members pay $30, nonmembers $35, and Race Day entry is $38. Online registration is available through the event website. Packet pick-up takes place at the SUNY Adirondack Student Center. Registered runners who sign up by May 30 will receive a tri-blend performance shirt, unisex crew neck or womens v-neck.
There are three water stops along the course and snacks provided for all runners at the finish. Awards are given to the top three overall men and women and to the top three men and women in five-year age groups. Buses will be available at the finish to return runners to SUNY Adirondack starting at about 9:30 A.M. For safety, strollers are not allowed and dogs are not permitted on or along the Warren County Bikeway. The race benefits local fire departments, rescue squads, and TAR scholarships.
