Achilles Hope and Possibility 5K and 1 Mile

The fourth annual Achilles Hope and Possibility event takes place on May 13, 2026 at Creve Coeur Lake Park in Saint Louis, Missouri. The event benefits the Achilles St. Louis chapter. Achilles St. Louis pairs athletes with disabilities and volunteers or guides to enable participation in races throughout the year.

The course uses paths at Creve Coeur Lake Park and is noted for being flat and wide. New in 2026, cyclists can ride alongside the Achilles tandem and adaptive cycling program on the park trail at the conclusion of the running events. New athletes interested in adaptive cycling and tandem riding are invited to participate in that program.

After the event, participants can find pizza, music, and other activities at the venue. The event includes both timed and untimed options to accommodate different participation formats.

Event distances and options:

  • 5K timed
