ACE Race in Portville, NY : July 25, 2026
The ACE Race in Portville is a community running event held on July 25, 2026. Net proceeds will be donated to the ACE Memorial Scholarship and Basketball Court Fund.
Distances and options:
- 5K road course, single loop, counter-clockwise
- Kids Run (0.15 miles), out-and-back, untimed
- Virtual entry with mailed shirt in the continental USA
Registration and fees are listed for each entry type; registration by July 1 guarantees an event shirt. Race day registration and packet pickup take place at 500 Elm Street under the pavilion. A limited number of shirts may be available on race morning.
Course and logistics: the start/finish is located on the blacktop road next to the elementary parking lot and pavilion. Roads along the 5K route remain open to traffic; volunteers will assist at intersections. A water station and bathroom will be available in Pioneer Park around mile 2. Strollers are permitted at no extra charge. Participants under 13 are recommended to run with an adult.
Kids event details: the Little ACE Race is an untimed out-and-back from the main start/finish; all youth finishers receive a medallion. Kids registration does not include a shirt, but a kids t-shirt may be purchased for a fee if ordered before July 1.
Timing and results: professional RFID timing will be used and results are updated in real time. Finish-line photos and downloadable finisher certificates will be available after the event.
Volunteers are needed for course marshals, water station monitors, and post-race helpers. There are no refunds; organizers may postpone, reschedule, or offer a virtual alternative for public safety or other necessary reasons. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
