Holiday Fun 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon
This event is scheduled for December 12, 2026 at Woodley Park Section I, 6350 Woodley Ave., Van Nuys, CA 91436. It is organized by ABWR and offers multiple race distances around the park path.
The course uses marked loops on an out-and-back path with an aid station on each loop. There is one small hill located about 0.6 miles from the start. Distances offered:
- 5k - 1 loop
- 10k - 2 loops
- 15k - 3 loops
- Half Marathon - three extended 5k loops
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free videos and photos linked to bibs, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, and live results at finish. Participants gain access to the A Better World Running app to track races, photos and videos, plus features such as an Ascend Index ranking and Ascend Crew for following friends. An assortment of snacks and samples will be available.
Race day registration is offered with listed fees for each distance. The published time limit for the event is 3 hours 15 minutes; an early start may be available by contacting the organizer.
