Red White & Blue 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon - Woodley Park
The event takes place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Woodley Park Section 1 in Lake Balboa, California (6340 Woodley Ave). It is an open course held on park paths where runners and pedestrians share the route. Participants are required to use the pedestrian tunnel rather than crossing Woodley Ave.
Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, posted results within 12 to 24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. The organizer describes the race as a personal racing experience and offers group discounts and volunteer opportunities.
The course is an easy out-and-back route with one small hill about 0.6 miles from the start. Aid stations provide water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels; an aid station is available on every loop for the multi-loop distances. Loop structure for each distance is as follows:
- 5k - 1 loop
- 10k - 2 loops
- 15k - 3 loops
- Half marathon - 3 times 4.36 mile loops
There is a 3 hour 15 minute event time limit. Bibs must be visible on the front for photos and results to be recorded. Transfers are handled by the organizer and the event has a no refund policy. Parking is available in the Woodley Ave and Victory Blvd lots with overflow dirt parking across Woodley Ave; cross the street only via the tunnel.
